Ronald Acuna is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young players in Major League Baseball. At just 21 years old, he has already established himself as a major force for the Atlanta Braves and looks to be on his way to an All-Star career.
The Rise of a Star
Acuna was signed by the Braves at age 16 out of Venezuela and worked his way up through their farm system before making his MLB debut in 2018. In that rookie season, he hit .293 with 26 home runs and 64 RBIs while playing all three outfield positions for Atlanta. He also stole 16 bases over 111 games played, showing off both speed and power at a very young age.

The 2019 season saw Acuna take another big step forward as an elite player when he became only the sixth 20 year old ever to put together a 30/30 campaign (31 homers & 37 steals).
