Ronald Acuna is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young players in Major League Baseball. At just 21 years old, he has already established himself as a major force for the Atlanta Braves and looks to be on his way to an All-Star career.

The Rise of a Star

Acuna was signed by the Braves at age 16 out of Venezuela and worked his way up through their farm system before making his MLB debut in 2018. In that rookie season, he hit .293 with 26 home runs and 64 RBIs while playing all three outfield positions for Atlanta. He also stole 16 bases over 111 games played, showing off both speed and power at a very young age.

The 2019 season saw Acuna take another big step forward as an elite player when he became only the sixth 20 year old ever to put together a 30/30 campaign (31 homers & 37 steals). He finished second in National League MVP voting behind Cody Bellinger after hitting .280 with 41 HRs & 101 RBIs while leading all NL players with 127 runs scored during that season's shortened schedule due to COVID-19 pandemic protocols being implemented throughout baseball stadiums across America..

His performance earned him recognition from fans around baseball who voted him into this year’s All Star game where he went 1–3 batting leadoff for Team USA against Japan’s team which included Shohei Ohtani among others representing Japan's best talent pool available abroad currently playing stateside ball here domestically within our own borders..
